Transferring from LaGuardia offers the least expensive up to expensive. The M60 Public bus to Manhattan is the most economical way to reach the city. There are no luggage facilities. The bus goes to 116th St. and Broadway. From there you can catch subway 1 or 9 to midtown. Another bus available is the Q-33 to Roosevelt Ave.- Jackson Heights station then catch the subway E or F/ Allow 90 minutes for the trip. Taxis run from $20.00-$35.00 plus tolls (around $4.00) and take 20 to 40 minutes. Group fares run around $10.00 per person (plus a share of tolls). Cary Airport Service runs buses for Manhattan every 20 -30 minutes and start departing at 6:45 a.m. until midnight. The Cary Airport Service is available at all terminals. It’s a 40 minute ride to 42nd St. and Park Ave. which is directly across from Grand Central Terminal. Then the bus continues onto the Port Authority Bus Terminal. From the major Manhattan hotels, the Gray Line Air Shuttle go directly back and forth to the airport. Make arrangements at the airport’s ground transportation center or use the courtesy phone. Shuttles run from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
